On the other hand, if you act a little cocky and don’t give them the attention they are so used to getting, you’ll pique their interest.
Do What Most Other Guys Don’t Do
The reason why the cocky and funny technique is so effective is that it encourages you to do what other guys don’t do. Typically, a guy meets a girl he likes and starts acting like a whipped puppy. This turns women off beyond belief; the minute the challenge is gone, the minute the girl starts looking elsewhere. You want to be the cocky, humorous alpha male who always gets a laugh; you never want to let on that you feel nervous around a pretty girl.

Achieve the Right Balance between Cocky and Funny
If you want to use the cocky and funny technique successfully, you need to understand the difference between being arrogant and playful. If you act arrogant, women will just think that you’re an overconfident jerk. The idea is not to insult women. You have to be playful and joke around while saying slightly cocky things. You are never supposed to bring a girl down or make her feel bad about herself. You simply say something jokingly that puts you on a pedestal, but without overdoing It.
Don’t Take It Too Far
One of the most common problems amongst men who are new to the cocky and funny technique is that they take it too far, to the point where they’re offensive. Don’t blindly use cocky and funny lines without paying attention to women’s reactions. You want to sprinkle the cocky and funny technique into your normal behavior. Too much cocky and funny can also be a bad thing.
Remember: cocky and funny is a technique, not a way of being. The idea is play hard to get in the beginning in order to get the girl, not stay in the flirting stage forever. Eventually, you have to your guard down a little, so women can appreciate you for you who you are. Just don’t make the mistake of acting needy and obsessed in your relationship because then the girl will probably end up leaving you for someone who presents a challenge.
